Welcome

About Us

Since 2008, we've been engaging in an effort to bridge further connections in the field of non profit professionals and organizations via direct contact and social media networking. My goal is to work with grass roots organizations and leading institutions to provide cost effective, efficient and impactful services to those interested in capacity building, community development and increasing the health and well being of the clients you serve.

Scott Spicer is currently working in Southwest Michigan's non profit sector and has expertise in public health, prevention, community organizing, grant writing, fundraising, diversity and social justice. He has a wide range of experiences that contribute to his ability to provide innovative and team based services. "From a young age I've felt the desire to make a difference in my own community and have been working hard at that in a variety of capacities for over ten years." Scott enjoys public speaking, training and working with others to make an impact on peoples lives and create real and sustainable change.

Charisse Ma Lebron is currently the Corporate Responsibility & Advocacy Manager of Marin Institute, the alcohol industry watchdog. She joined the staff in November 2007 and has worked to organize, advocate, and educate the public and policymakers in order to reduce the harmful effects of alcohol on society. Before joining Marin Institute, Charisse worked on three major campaigns: the most recent was with the California Reinvestment Coalition (CRC) where she worked to counter the growth of predatory lending in communities of color and low-income neighborhoods. Prior to working with CRC, Charisse served as the Field and Education Director of Equality New Mexico, where she played an integral role in defeating three pieces of anti-gay legislation. Additionally, Charisse is a former staff member of the Howard Dean presidential campaign, where she served as an organizer specializing in minority constituency outreach with a focus on Asian Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans. She is the lead author of the recently released Marin Institute report, “Big Beer Duopoly: A Primer for Policymakers and Regulators,” examining the most recent beer industry mergers, and offering responses to new policy challenges.

We look forward to partnering with those of you who share similar interests and passions to improve our ability to invest in those who are most in need.
